1971 Ford Thunderbird Last year of suicide doors with car hauler
Description
Hello and thank you for stopping here. You are viewing or bidding on a 1971 Ford Fordoor Thunderbird. 1971 is the last year they made this body style and all 4 doors which are the "suicide" doors. This is a Ford blue in and out with a white half Landau roof and factory sunroof. The interior is cloth and passenger and rear seats are better than fair. The drivers side needs to be redone. I took up the carpet and will put new carpet down prior to pick up. Floors are solid, not a bit of real rust. Just oxidation on the surface. It came with a powerful 429 engine and a c6 transmission. Lots of motor upgrades have been made to this now high performance vehicle. Good straight body and frame. Huge factory sunroof. This is a rare bird, it is the last know Neiman Marcus "His" front grill option. Eagle crank and H piston rods, Mahle flat top pistons and rings, comp cams "big mutha thumper" cam, hydraulic roller lifters, 3/8 custom push rods, aluminum hydraulic roller rockers, triple valve springs, cast iron and most favorable high comression d0ve block and heads, Fuelmaster 1050 cfm carb, 15 gallon fuel cell in trunk, MSD ignition, fireball coil, MSD distributor, High output starter, B&M shifter, custom Hooker Headers with Flow master pipes, posi rear end with 410''s, rear suspension has air shocks and air lift adjustable. It runs on high octane fuel or E85. The rear end has also been modified with a drivers side stabalizer bar to handle the posi. The front is dropped about 2" which also helped balance the oil feed and heat distribution. Lots more parts and all receipts with them. I have not driven drove this beast since the motor rebuild but am getting close as it only need a fender weld, some paint and the right stall converter, I put one on that is too small. Extra body parts, glass, starters, alternators, fuel pumps, carbs, pulleys and more go with the car. Tons of pictures available and I can answer any question. call me or email me nine 1 8 three one 3 55 six 0 or jnixon at techemail dot com. And yes, you can have the trailer too. It is a 4 wheel two axle iron grate with a tow wench. The wench is new and I have hand help hook ups for the control to ad to the frame. The wheels, tores and axle are brand new and have less than 500 miles on them. I have $2200 in the trailer alone.
