Clean 1957 Thunderbird Barn Find
Description
I have a clean 1957 Thunderbird for sale. I bought this car approximately 2 years ago. It had been sitting for almost 20 years. When I picked it up, I ordered new brake shoes, soft lines and a master cylinder for it. None of which I have installed. The drums were turned as well. The car has an aftermarket A/C system that was installed in the 80's. When the A/C was installed, a 4 core radiator was installed as well. I have the original 3 row radiator as well. I have the receipts for all of the work done to the car. The previous owner had the heads pulled to have hardened seats installed. While the heads were off, he had the short block done also. There is about 20k miles on the motor since then. I have not tried to start the car. I pulled the plugs and started to squirt Marvels Mystery Oil in to the cylinders. There is slight bubbling near the rear quarter panels. The previous owner put a vinyl top on the car. After it was removed at some point, the adhesive was left. That is why it looks kind of white. The trunk area is super clean with no rust. I have a NOS dash pad from Ford in the box. There is two extra hub caps also. I have a stack of receipts for this car showing all of the work done to it. In the pictures, you will see that the ignition switch and door locks are out. They were pulled along with the trunk lock so that I could make a new set of keys. The previous owner lost the keys in his back yard. Let me know if you have any questions. If you want me to take specific pictures also let me know. If you are the winner of this auction, I require a $500 deposit that is non refundable. Don't waste my time and yours if you don't have the money. I am sure that I am forgetting something...thanks and good luck. I forgot to mention that I do have the head light trim. The previous owner took them off because one was damaged.

The motor is not frozen, seized or locked up. I put mmo in it just to make sure that I did not damage anything when I started to roll it over by hand. I have rolled it by hand and by the starter. I forgot to mention that I do have the fender skits as well. I have the factory jack, floor plate and bumper hook. I do belive that the car came with a 4 blade fan. There is a 5 blade installed and the 4 blade comes with the car. Thank you all for the offers and questions. James
