Description

1991 GEO METRO CONVERTIBLE
This Geo Metro LSI Convertible is in very good condition. It has an excellent running engine and 5-speed transmission. It has newer tires and rims. The doors and seats were reupholstered in blue, and at the same time the carpet in the car and trunk was replaced with a new black one. The black boot covers for the convertible top when it is lowered are complete and unbroken. The brakes and struts are all good. The body has no major dents, just a few little pits on the hood and left side. The body has no rust except for one spot on the under body on the passenger side as shown in the picture. I installed a new Kenwood radio with IPod capabilities and speaker system. It has two front and two rear speakers. The heater works great. It didn't come with an air conditioner.
It needs a new convertible top, which you can get on eBay for around $200. It also needs new trunk struts, which you can get at any auto part store. It was repainted sometime in its past, and the clear coat on the trunk is peeling as you can see in the picture. The airbag light is always on, but that is the only one.
It has a clear, regular title. It was in an accident in 2008 (long before I bought it in 2011), but does not have a salvage title or any problems indicated on the title I have. Looking at it, I believe the damage from the accident was on the passenger front side. Any damage was repaired and the hood and front bumper replaced as far as I can tell.
I keep synthetic oil in the engine and run on 91 octane gas or higher. I have maintenanced it regularly since I bought it five years ago and it has no oil leaks. This is a nice great running little car that I am not afraid to take cross county on a moments notice.
