1967 GMC Super Custom Fleetside
Description
This was owned by a single family throughout its entire life. No indications of rust in the typical spots for these trucks (rockers, corners, fender cups. etc.). The original owner had the truck repainted to a brighter orange than stock (more of a hugger orange than a burnt orange like stock). The stock wrap around bumper was removed and replaced with a new C10 bumper. The holes for the wrap around are still there in case the new owner wants to covert it back. Inside of the truck, the floor covering is the original rubber mat from the factory which looks amazing given it's age. I did replace the arm rests with black ones as the originals were cracked. Mileage is around 105K to the best of my knowledge.
Originally this car was a three speed, however, it was converted to a TH350 with a nice tilt column. The stock Dana 44 rear end received new seals and the gears were inspected (no damage noted, and contact good). The stock 283 was dressed up, a 4 barrel carb was added, and it also has an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. New dual exhaust as well. Bench seat re-covered. Lowered a couple of inches with shackles and springs.
The only remaining things I would do to this truck would be to rebuild the gauges (they don't currently function), add a license plate light (the wiring is there, I just forgot to order this part when mounting the bumper), replace the radio (stock one no longer works), and add an antenna (this didn't come with the truck when I purchased it).
A lot of the trucks you will see have the doors cut for speakers and the dash cut for a stereo. This car is unmolested and uncut, and in better shape than I have seen for a 67 which wasn't built as a show car. I've taken this to shows and driven it around town and get compliments all the time.
Upon purchase, payment will be required via cashier's check or cash. Once this has cleared, the title will be mailed and the pickup can be scheduled.
