Description

Eddie's Chop Shop 1948 COE Suburban

Custom built COE crew hauler and Hot Rod.

Looking for the most outrageous truck to pull your toys? This is it. I built this truck for pulling my race car trailer used in drag racing and Land Speed Racing. This is by far one of the most fun vehicles I have ever owned or driven. Considering I build wild Hot Rods and race cars for a living that is saying a lot. The truck constantly is being photographed and has been featured on tv in a commercial for Jay Leno . I wanted a truck that was big enough to have the crew comfortable on long hauls. And also have the power and reliability to pull my large goose neck trailer fully loaded down. I have put around 20K miles on the truck since completion and the truck has performed flawlessly. Drawing a ton of attention wherever it goes. Push button Allison auto, air brakes, cruise control makes the truck easy to drive. No special skills required. It has a back up camera and a forward facing camera. The truck is only around a foot longer than my one ton Dodge and can be driven and parked just about anywhere a full size truck can go. I drive it regularly even without towing just for the enjoyment.

I own a full service shop in Sacramento CA and can make any modifications to the truck to fit your needs or preferences.

Can be driven on a class C license. Your trailer may dictate a higher license requirement however.

Guaranteed to make you the center of any show or car function. You must enjoy talking about your vehicles to own this. You will constantly be asked questions about it. People will be leaning out their windows to photograph it as you are going down the road!

Custom built by Ed Umland of Eddie's Chop Shop located in Sacramento CA. I have been building custom vehicles for many years and have received many awards and accolades for my builds. I have been featured in many magazine articles. I am a member of the Bonneville 200 mph club, the El Mirage 200 mph club and I am an SCTA inspector during speedweek. I build custom Hot Rods and Race cars full time out of my shop. I can do any additional work you would like done in house. If you do a search for me you can see some of my builds online.
