1972 GMC 2500, FREE Shipping with "Buy It Now" in the Contiguous United States
Description
1972 GMC 2500 Super Custom. This truck is very solid and I would drive it anywhere.I bought it from an old guy that had a camper on it that I wanted and he would not split it up. So now I'm selling the truck.Read my Feedback, I am very honest in my Descriptions, maybe a little harder than I should be because I do not ever want someone to come back and say that I was not honest in my description. This truck has a 350 V8 with 4-barrel carburetor, Turbo 350 Transmission, and Factory Air Conditioning. I expect the Air Conditioning does not work, although it appears that everything is there except for the belt. This truck has Power Brakes and Power Steering.
It is a 2 wheel drive long bed 3/4 ton truck. Please pay attention to the pictures, somebody has taken off most of the trim and did a crappy job on the repaint where they filled in the holes and on the paint overall, look at the pics, it definitely needs a paint job. I have seen no Bondo or cancer in the cab itself. There are rust Bubbles in the front of the lower right front fender. And the left fender has a considerable amount of Bondo in it.The interior of the bed is in excellent shape. The truck comes with the sought-after Barden rear bumper. The underside of this truck is in great shape as well. The interior needs to be redone. There is a seat cover on the seat because there is no vinyl left in the driver's area. And the floors have no type of cover on them, which is good because you can see they are not cancered. The top slide on the heater control is broken or something as it slides freely.
Electrically everything works as it should, but there are circuit breakers added in for the camper which I have not removed. The day I bought it, I drove it home about a hundred and thirty miles with no issues. I have probably put another 500 miles on it since then with no problems. The left rear brake will lock up under application on gravel or dirt.As you can see in the pictures there is damage to the right rocker panel under the passenger door and to the bed directly behind that. If you're like me you would much rather deal with a bad Dent than rust.I am willing to ship this and or help you with shipping this in any way that I can. I can pick you up at the Sacramento Airport, help you arrange with a shipper to pick it up, or I can ship it myself. On average I charge about $0.75 a mile one way. If you want this shipped overseas I can also take it to the docks in Los Angeles or Oakland. As far as my shipping history, you can go on to uShip and search for scoutaddiction. If you use the "Buy It Now" option, I will ship it for you for free, I will have it to you by July 15th, as that is when I am going to make a trip back east. If you are closer we may be able to get it to you sooner. Contiguous means the connected United States, Not Alaska or Hawaii. To eliminate the scammers I expect a $500 deposit within 72 hours of the end of the auction. Before you ask a question or place a bid, please read the auction and look at all the pictures. If there's anything else I can help you with please ask prior to the end of the auction.
