Performance is not a problem thanks to a strong-running 350 cubic inch V8 under the hood. It's nicely detailed with matching red inner fenders, firewall, and radiator cradle, so the engine itself stands out. Other dress-up parts include the finned air cleaner, Edelbrock valve covers, and a polished fan shroud to really make things bright. There was an effort to keep the wiring and plumbing neat and even the heater box was painted to match the bodywork. Thanks to a professional build, it starts easily, idles well, and pulls the relatively lightweight truck around with performance that rivals a muscle car. Thanks to a frame-off build, the chassis is very well detailed, with satin black components, a fresh dual exhaust system fed by long-tube headers, and a lowered suspension that handles well on the street. A TH350 3-speed manual transmission powers a heavy-duty 12-bolt rear end that includes custom traction bars to help it hook up. Other goodies include a new gas tank, monoleaf springs in back, and those flashy Torque Thrust wheels that are just the right choice on a truck like this.
