Description

Ready to drive - for sale by private party -

Illness forces sale of this well-modified 1936 GMC pickup. This truck has been under the same ownership for many years. It's a nice truck, well-built and sturdy. It's not a show truck...it's built to drive and enjoy. The truck has well-done and tasteful body mods, and the running gear is modern and reliable. It's built to tow a 5th wheel, and the photos show that it's done so (to Alaska and across the country). The engine is a 1996 Impala fuel-injected LT-1 backed by a 4L60 automatic overdrive. The chassis wiring is from Ron Francis, and the fuel injection wiring is from Detail Zone. The cab and doors have been stretched 4 inches. The cowl has also been stretched 4 inches. The bottom of the grill has been moved out 4 inches, and the windshield has been laid back 4 inches as well. The truck has suicide doors. The bed is custom built. The front suspension is '49 Chev with disc brakes. The rear end is a bulletproof full-floating Dana 60 (custom built) on heavy duty leaf springs. The truck has power steering and brakes, power windows, air conditioning, tilt wheel, Specialty Power wipers, AM/FM/CD stereo, Moon Eyes gauges, and remote door openers. Built to tow and haul, the truck has 5th wheel and standard tow hitches, trailer brakes, towing mirrors, and an oversized fuel tank. Structurally and mechanically, this truck is in good condition. The paint and interior show wear, but it could be spiffed up and look pretty darn good. It can be enjoyed today, and would be a great rig to tow your 5th wheel or car trailer. The trailer shown (1986 20 ft. Layton) could be negotiated along with the truck if the buyer has interest. This auction is for the truck only. If you have questions regarding the truck, please call Ron at 360-943-0792. He can work with the owner to address your questions.

The truck is located in Olympia, WA 98501 and a viewing can be easily arranged.

Clean Washington title in hand.
