1952 GMC 5 Window Pickup Truck
Description
Awesome 1952 GMC 5 Window Pickup Truck. This truck was built in the Oakland CA plant and bought new by a man who kept it in Bishop CA where it remained until I bought it 4 years ago. Since then, it has been kept in my dry aircraft hangar in Bigfork, Montana. 4 speed on floor, original motor has about 98k miles and starts immediately and drives with no smoke or oil usage. Mostly original but converted to 12 volts with electronic ignition. Nice custom roll pan in the rear. Behind the seat gas tank has been replaced with a brand new chassis mount tank. New exhaust. Replaced king pins and U joints. This truck having never left California spent its life in the high desert in Bishop CA and is solid with no rust. Dents here and there; great old patina. I drive this truck to 5 miles to work occasionally only in nice weather and get thumbs up everywhere I go. I found original wheels that I had powder coated black and installed vintage correct new tires. I've got a lot of spare parts to include hubcaps, two used front fenders, two used doors. Clear Montana title. Great vintage SOLID truck. I am located in Northwestern Montana. $500.00 deposit upon auction end, payment must be completed within 7 days.
