Description

Original Paint Survivor! I have had this truck for approx 25 years. I purchased from original owner. This is a numbers matching 454 big block short box. They could not have made many of these. I put about 10,000 miles on truck the 1st couple of years I owned it. After that, just went on car cruises & shows with it. Pulled the motor about 10 years ago, had a worn valve guide & bad valve. had heads done about 7 years ago. Took the block to local machine shop about 6 months ago to have lower end checked out. Had one piston with stuck ring & one piston had a worn skirt, camshaft was also getting bad. Had machine shop totally go through short block. Had to bore .30 over because of a couple worn cylinders. Bearings and crank were great. Short block is professionally done with new bearings, camshaft & pistons. Engine just needs top end put on and installed. Thought I would list this way and see what happens. If does not sell this way, I will put engine in over the winter. This truck has all original paint (except wheels, I did paint them years ago). No rust on truck, except where some rock chips are below lower molding. Inside bed is excellent. I am done explaining here. Serious buyers need to come look at truck for further details. This has been inside all its life. Only thing I didn't like was the previous owner had some side lights, grab handles, whip CB antenna, running boards and topper that were on truck when I bought it. I took all them off, but there are some holes where they were. I also replaced dual exhaust years ago, still excellent. Has a/c, tilt, am/fm, sliding window. Carpet like new in truck.
