1977 GMC Longbed Lowered in Original Condition
Description
I bought this pickup as it's my age almost to the month of manufacturing; probably not a reason to buy a truck but it caught my eye.New powder-coated wheels, newer rubber.New door panelsNew carpetNewupholsteryNew bed-liner roll on Herculiner with 6 recessed tie downs installedRecent tune-up, newer battery, clean fluids and brakes adjusted. Transmission shifts perfectly.
This pickup has the original block and this V8 is smooth but no speedster. It's quiet and steers with ease. It's like cruising on a Tritoon boat andoffers a wonderful driving experience.
The body appears to have been painted once in the last 42 years. The repaint has nicks, scratches and wear. It's a Patina pick up but still has some shine and is nice with the contrast of the freshly powder-coated white wheels and white roof. The glass on thegauges are new and clear like day 1 off the factory.
The truck brakes straight, tracks straight and rides like a dream. I've owned many classics from this range vehicle to 100 point show cars and the refreshing part of this truck is that it rides like few vehicles that haven't been restored. You don't have to be a slave to cleaning it (look under the hood for example) and can enjoy this unique old pick up for house duties or creeping by the local car show. This truck is James Dean cool by it's set up and frankly I'm highly torn on selling it...period. Check out my feedback. I require $500 from Paypal within 24 hours and the balance before the truck ships or titletransfers. You can drive this truck home across the country butyou'll have to Uber to my house.
