Work I have done to 1977 GMC dump truck
New parts added:front bumper, grill, headlights, headlights housing.Right and left fender. Hood,left and right inner fender wells.Carburetor,hoses, all glass.( door windows, back glass and front windshield.)New rubber around all glass.Interior: seats re-upholstered andembroideredwith the Tonka logo, carpet and I.P. pad with face.Dual exhaust system all the way to the back with chrome tips on the ends.Flow-master mufflers and tail lights.All aluminum panels on sides and rear bumper.Side mirrors on both sides,marker lights, all chrome trim, both side door handles and door locks.Starter, alternator, power steering, box and steering knuckle metal.Electric fuel pump and rear U bolts.Rear wheel bearings.New brakes and shocks.It has a GM Crate Motor less than 3,000 miles.
Reworked items:
Front hubs, spindles and calipers from a ton truck.Front sway bar and bushings.Back sway bar and bushings.Changed rims from 16 ½ to 19 ½ .All new tires.
Work I did:
Cleaned and painted with chassis saver on frame.Painted black.Chassis saver poured into inner fenders and hood ( where rust happens most).Cleaned bed, painted chassis saver on bed.Then painted bed.I used bed coating on inner bed with same color.Primered and painted cab.Painted interior.White oak wood sides.
