1975 GMC Gentleman Jim original barn find sierra classic 15 c10
Description
This is an opportunity to own one of the first ever luxury trucks put on the market.
1975 Gentleman Jim.It was General Motors first attempt at an upscale pickup truck.
There are a couple of websites that indicate that there were less than 1000 ever made.
Here is a basic run down of what these trucks included.
All Gentleman Jim trucks were long bed trucks. They also included,A/CAutomatic transmissionTachometer,Faux wood paneling on the dash and door panelsBucket SeatsCenter ConsoleBed RailsAll were black and gold two toneAll had Rally rims
This truck is an awesome restoration candidate.
This truck has almost no rust through.I can only find a very small spot on the front of the hood and one spot the size of a half dollar on the lower edge of the passenger side front fender. There is no other rust through.
The truck needs a complete cosmetic restoration but runs and drives perfectly.
The body is almost 100% dent free. Only a few dings here and there.
The engine runs flawlessly with no burning oil, ticks or knocks.
We rebuilt the front brakes as they were a little sluggish to release pressure.
We have only cleaned the truck. This truck is an honest find. It hasn't been faked to make it look a certain way.
The tires are old and need replacing.
If the vehicle is paid for in full within 5 business days, it can stay here as long as needed to arrange shipping, within reason.
Feel free to call me with any questions.
