1980 GMC Sierra 2500
Description
1980 GMC Sierra 2500 3/4 ton pickup. Full float heavy duty 14 bolt rear axle. Heavy duty 292 inline six, backed behind a sm465 4 speed transmission. Behind that is a Doug Nash (us gear) overdrive unit which essentially makes this a 5 speed. Not sure if its working or not. Power steering and power brakes. Dual saddle fuel tanks. Working Sun tachometer. Obvious signs of repaint on the outside but all looks to be similar to if not the original color, look at the bare floors and firewall that show original paint. Hood on passanger side has a light kink like these hoods do, but as pictures show its minimal and still presentable when closed. Interior is clean for its age and presentable but dash door panels and seat have heat cracks. Has an excellent patina that shines up amazing, something you would be proud of taking to car shows on the weekend but also hauling loads and putting to work during the week. Wagon style rims with matching set of tires, tires are old and will need to be replaced. Truck has been sitting for a very long time. It currently starts, runs, drives, shifts and stops but again has been sitting for many years and should be gone over before putting back on the road. This is a very clean, shiny squarebody with very few dents, scratches and chips but again does have its imperfections which are all pictured. I do have a photo album link I can send to you with over 200 photos to show in detail every inch and corner of this truck. Truck is sold as-is with no warranty given or implied. Buyer is responsible for shipping/transposition of the vehicle. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due at the end of sale. I am available to show to you, your agent, or inspector at any time as long as its made prior to end of sale. Truck is located in Northern California near the Sacramento airport.
