1961 GMC Truck Very Original 305 V6 4 Speed. Runs and drives. Chevy C10 C20

Description

1961 GMC. It is running off an external can. I can drive it around the yard. Clutch works fine. Carb is an old Holley single with the clear sight bowl. It needs the carb rebuilt and a full tune up. Motor sounds nice - no smoke or bad noises. it stumbles when the gas is applied much past idle due to the carb. Tranny shifts fine. Brakes do not work.
The truck is mostly original. It still has the glass jar window washer setup, the spin on under cab fuel filter, etc. It must have been some sort of business/contracting truck as it has a few unique adds. Of course, trucks of this era were all work trucks. It has a spot for a 2nd battery, a couple of throw switches, and some heavy wiring going out to the bed.
Body : new left fender. right fender is rotted. Inner fenders have some rot. Rockers have rot. Outer portions of floor connected to rockers are the same. Doors are decent/usable. The bed is awesome for it's age and never being restored. The frame is great. All glass is good except the windshield has a 2" star on driver side. Roof is in good shape.
Interior - the switches work, the turn signals appear to be functioning as do the head lights. Everything appears to be there. Seat is still pretty firm, but needs upholstery.
This would be awesome to restore back to the way it was or it would make a good rat rod.
For sale locally as well. Bid early and bid often. If it meets reserve, I will not end early for a local sale. I feel reserve is very reasonable for the truck.
