1979 GMC Sierra 3/4 ton 4x4
Description
This truck doesn’t not run. It was parked in 1994 after owner died. I do not have keys. I do not know condition of engine but I believe it’s a 400 small block. Must be trailered.
This is a 1979 GMC Sierra 4x4 3/4 ton.It is from San Diego but currently in Reno with clear title in my name. I bought it last month to remove the Hickey Enterprises options. They are now removed and gone. There are no steps, tire rack mounts or brushguard and hub covers are removed.
It has an automatic transmission and no203 transfer case. Full time 4wd.
The truck has a cool cowboy camper with provides secure storage or as a sleeper
There are two sets of wheels and tires. Currently it has 16.5 turbines with 25 year old tires. Unsafe. A second mf set of wheels that latch passenger front is included with decent tread. 4th turbine included but tire blew.
Color is carmine red and red interior. Carpet smells like mouse pee.
Front fenders trimmed for big tires. Truck has Rough Country lift like 4 inch and hellwig helper springs.
It has a tow package, a front truss, skid plate or maybe transfer case guard.
Rust thru on passenger door and firewall. It had leaves piled on it for years so hood is pitted up. Bed floor rusty. Undercarriage good with surface rust.
Rare Hickey Enterprises rollbar included. It’s rusty but not thru. I think it was altered to fit behind the camper shell.
Rear sliding window. Seat has tear. Dash pad cracked. Door panels faded.
Honestly I think the motor will run, it’s complete. Red carpet kit is on sale for $124. I’d fix rusty door find good used interior and rhinoline the bed and drive it
