For Sale: Rare 1951 five window GMC 100 series (1/2 ton). Truck has been through a complete renovation, not frame off. Engine is the original 228 stove bolt, original 6 volt system, mileage unknown since the odometer stopped working years ago and never replaced. Engine components either repaired, rebuilt or replaced. Truck starts right up and ready to drive. Body was media blasted then a rust preventative sprayed on all body parts and wheel wells. Original GMC Forester Green paint applied, new milled wood bed and side stakes. New 6.50x16 tires, spare tire on rear left fender which was a factory option. New bumpers, window rubber, wiring harness, springs, brake lines, gauges restored and much more installed during renovation. Cab interior is stock with new factory correct paint and new upholstered stock seat and steering wheel. Original chrome grill, new exhaust, motor mounts, brakes and master cylinder. Windows roll up and down, all lights work plus new turn signals installed since trucks from this era were not equipped. Running boards were sprayed with non skid Rino Liner, service manual included. This is a great truck for weekend fun, parades or used in a business. The truck has been garaged the last ten years since renovation, well taken care of and babied by owners.
