Hello everybody...
Thank you for taking a few minutes to have a look at my 1976 GMC Sierra Grande, C-15.
I just posted a short video of a walk around on the truck, and under the hood with it running. If you searchYouTube videos: 1976 GMC C-15 Sierra Grande you should be able to see it. Here is a linkto the video as well...https://youtu.be/Gr706b_CYMc
I have owned the truck for about 3 years, and before that it was owned by my older brother since it was almost new. It was built at the Fremont, CA. plant and shipped new to the GMC/Buick dealer in Phoenix, AZ. It made it's way up to Las Vegas, NV. a few years later and has been here ever since. No heavy rain fall, and no SNOW which means no RUST. The body, frame and under carriage are very, very clean and original.
The original 350 small block was replaced early on by a standard bore 454 big block and backed up by a Turbo 400, 3 speed automatic. The engine received a freshen up rebuild at about 75,000 miles.
The rear end/differential is a 12 bolt, non-posi with a 3:08 ratio ring and pinion.
Over the last 2 years I have made a number of changes and upgrades to the truck, nothing radical, just a lot of new OEM style parts and nice semi-custom upgrades. Here is a list of what has been done... it's a long list, so I apologize in advance.

As you can see.... I have replaced or upgraded a lot of themajor and minor parts and accessories you would need to look into replacing when you buy a used vehicle. Take a close look at all the pictures...you will see all the new parts.
I do need to mention, the windshield has two stone chips in it, one near the center and one down low on the drivers side. Thealuminum tailgate panel has a couple of small dings in it. The bed hasthe do it yourself roll on Herculiner covering with a rubber floor and tailgate mat. The roll on liner looks ok, but not great like a Line-x or Gatorhyde spray on liner. The front lower grill support has some small holes in it where some driving lights used to be mounted. The rear window has some older window tint that is starting to show some aging. There are some scratches on the inside of both front door windows. Thedash clock does not work. The wiper/washer switch is gettingtempermental at times. The sheet metal is not perfectly flat and straight but very acceptable for a 40 year old truck.
Overall, this is a very solid, honest, clean truck...looks great, sounds great, runs excellent, has air conditioningand a blast to drive. I constantly get the thumbs up and, "Hey, your truck looks great" wherever I go.
