Description

I'm selling a very rare 78,000 mile 1982 Honda Prelude Solaire convertible. Believed to be one of just a few remaining. From what we can find there were less than 50 of these produced by a company Called Solaire in Santa Ana CA., they were sold by honda with full manufacture warranty. It was stored for the last 15 years. I've just acquired this and I thought I should let the true Honda enthusiast have a chance at it. I have not done anything to this car other than air up the tires. It starts and drives as the video will show. It does not run well due to old gas and probably gummed up carb. I have an extra carb to go with. I ran it for over an hour on a 90+ degree day and it doesn't get hot or smoke. Also a few extra wheels and tires if the buyer wants. Interior is in decent shape for a convertible this age. missing speaker grilles. a couple small tears in top of seat (pictured). Top is in poor condition but should keep you dry. Seems to have preserved the interior pretty well. I believe the tops were just old mecedes tops you should be able to buy them ready to put on. Body is decent for a 35 year old honda some dents and dings but no rust. This is your chance to own a very rare car with low miles for less than rare car money. No reserve auction so please bid with good intention to purchase. Ebay would not let me post the video so please copy the you tube link and go from there to see the video. https://youtu.be/VdIBbiNmOr8
