1990 Honda Civic Hatchback
Description
Up for sale is a 1990 Honda Civic hatchback. It is a 1.5 liter D15B2 with a 5-speed manual transmission. It has 253,000 miles. It cranks, starts, drives. The clutch does not slip and has no issues with the gearbox.
Title is in hand, branded mileage exempt (is clean otherwise). At 26 years, this car could probably be registered as a classic car in some jurisdictions.
This car has no power options. The windows are hand-cranks. No factory A/C. No factory power steering.
The previous owner painted the car from its original color (White) to the green that you see in the pictures. The interior carpet was also replaced, so there are no holes or rips that you would normally see on a car of this age. The driver's seat is in poor condition (shown in the pictures). The wheels are from a Mazda. The intake and exhaust are both aftermarket, making the car louder than stock. A Neuspeed tower strut bar was installed.
There are some minor issues. An intermittent Check Engine light comes on. My mechanic says that it's for the crank angle sensor, so it needs a new distributor assembly for that. The fuel gauge stopped working after the pump assembly was replaced, so it is probably a short near the pump harness. The car will be fully-fueled for whomever wins the auction. Finally, both corner lights flash when using the turn signals.
I have replaced the starter, main relay, repaired the engine harness, replaced the complete fuel pump assembly (pump, strainer, and pump hanger), and both rear wheel cylinders. Receipts for all work.
I am selling this car because I have too many personal cars and projects right now and I want to give this car a good home.
This is a no-reserve auction.
