Hello everyone, here is an exceptional example of a 1987 Honda Civic.
The car has a almost exactly 51500 miles, of which have been verified, and the car visually inspected to be acurate. I have purchased well over 5000 while working with different dealers. I pride myself on spotting the rare and unique cars, that really stand out from all the rest. This is 100% one of them. With a combined 40 plus years experience I can easily says this one takes the cake.
What a nice car this is. The exterior is beautiful, and while the exterior does have some flaws, it is still in exceptional shape. I personally drove this car home and can speak to how nice it drives. It’s almost drove like a new car. The car didn’t pull, smell, shake, etc while doing 65 mph for over two hours.
Everything seems to work fine. It does have a high rev when first started, but by tapping the gas pedal a few times, the idle will goto back to normal. I think it just needs lubricant. I believe there is a light bulb out, so be prepared to buy a new one. I think they are around $1.49 and any oil change location will install it for free.
One thing I would do right away would be a timing belt and water pump. Rockauto has them for around $100.00 if I remember correctly. With these simple tiny engines, just about anyone will be able to install it and for cheap too.
The tires seem fine, so do the brakes. All the doors and windows work fine. Radio, wipers, lights, etc seem to be fine. This is just that once in a lifetime find, that would be really cool to show off, and drive around town.
