JDM RHD Honda Beat PP1-100
Description
For sale is a Festival Red 1991 Honda Beat kei roadster! Catches all eyes with its small and fun stature, even those who aren't car people. The ultimate hyper-miling roadster. The perfect mix of S2000 and NSX. This is a true JDM, RHD, mid-engine RWD convertible kei car. Original E07A MTREC (individual throttle bodies) inline 3 cylinder and 5 speed manual with only 38,500 (roughly 62,000 km) miles on them. Weighs only 1,675 pounds and will happily rev all the way to 8,500 RPM. All while getting about 50-60 MPG. Always garaged and in nearly showroom condition. Aftermarket struts, exhaust, wheels and polyurethane sway bar bushings. Everything else is bone stock. Everything works but amplifier in the head unit. Catalytic converter heat sensor is a defective part in these cars and will show the catalytic converter as overheating even when completely cold, either ignore the light or pull the bulb out of the gauge cluster. New spark plugs and freshly changed engine and transmission oil! Zero leaks. There is a little bit of rust, as there should be on any car this age, but not much and nowhere critical. This car has been my daily driver for the past 6 months and has done it wonderfully, but it's time for something different. This vehicle was originally silver, but the original owner had it professionally repainted in the more desirable Festival Red. This car is in pristine condition and truly in a league of its own as a 28 year old survivor. Others of this condition will run you $10,000-$12,000 from a dealer or importer.
Asking price is $8,000 USD, though offers in the ballpark will be considered.
Vehicle is sold in AS IS CONDITION.VIN: PP1-100-7727Legally imported and titled in Oregon. Comes with the little mushroom guy on the dash.Purchaser is responsible for pickup or shipping cost.
