Description

Photos are starting from most recent.
I feel like I can talk about this car forever if you want to contact me regarding the carfeel free.
The car is located in Miami Florida. Buyer will be purchasing the car "as is" and be responsible for pick up or shipping of the vehicle.
This car is a gem in its own. It is mostly all original and in great running condition. This is a 1989 Honda CRX Base also known as the DX model. It is a 5 speed manual model factory NON-A/C model. The car has its original D15B engine and transmission. Nearly everything underneath the hood that came from factory is there (battery tie down, random guides for vacuum hoses and the throttle cable), it is really impressive how original the engine bay has maintained! The car drives straight and doesn't make any strange noise from the engine or transmission. No major leaks or grinds of any kind. Car starts right up with no hesitation and arrives and stays at operating temperature with no issues.
The only parts that are not original anymore are suspension components such as brand new Koni STR front shocks, H&R lowering springs, KYB excel g rear shocks(good condition from previous ownership), and brand new Hardrace front camber kit. In my previous pictures the car was on kyb shocks all around and stock springs which are included in the sale of the car with many other misc. parts. The previous owner had the car raised from factory with a 2 inch spacer lift kit in order to accommodate to his liking and travels(pictured on reddit link below). The interior is in amazing condition minus 2 tears on the original driver seat cloth. The whole car was recently fully detailed, shampooed, and waxed. All interior panels are intact and present, even theoriginal clips that go over the seat rails. The original spare, jack, and tool kit are present in the car. the paint appears to be original all around.
The biggest flaw to the car is popular minimal rust by the rear fenders which is not in bad condition (does not go all the way through the metal). I do have new rear wheel arches from a mill supply company provided with sale for the next owner. The other bad part about the car is the rear driver side quarter glass in not original, due to it not being original thepaint was compromisedwhen changing the windowand there is a concerning rust spot around that window. This is pictured and I will gladly send anyone interested more detailed photos of all of this. there zero rust underneath the vehicle or on the body that are concerning. I have been underneath this car multiple occasions and am willing to send some pictures of underneath as I can access my friends lift again to show any prospective buyer. The rear wheel arch fender is popular amongst CRX's and the rear driver quarter was compromised hence these spots on this 30 year oldcar.
The car qualifies for antique plate and registration fees which makes it a lot more affordable to own andis Hagertyinsured for $6000 inMiami for only $570 a year.

Fresh NGK spark plugs

Super rare factory Louvers which are pretty much priceless at this point in the CRX community and I most recently found 1 set for sale asking $1000 on ebay plus $250 shipping.
Japanese model arm rest in black
Cobra hood bra
New CRX SI oem replacement mid section exhaust and muffler from Bosal.
Original Honda oem 13 inch wheels with good tires
Kosei K1 wheels with 205/50/15 Nitto Neogens
Please contact me for any more info! I do drive the car and it enjoy much as it brings back great memories and is the closest thing to a time machine for me. I hate to sell it but I currently have 4 cars and not enough space for them all. I had to take advantage of owning this car in the condition I found it in while I could.
Below is a link to a Reddit forum which shows many photos and commentsfrom the previous owner. I was told by his neighbor that sold me the car that he travelled the country in the car pulling his trailer as he was an aspiring pilot, most recently from Washington state to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The car was registered with a Maine title and plate when I purchased the vehicle. He owned for approx. 3-4 year and in the comments he states he purchased the car with 155k miles. He added the mileage up until 212k miles when he passed away. He was a meticulous owner who in reddit you can see he even cut up cardboard the shape of the windows to protect it from the sun in the summer time. He writes how he never red lined the car.
