Up for sale is a freshly imported JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) right hand drive 1992 Honda Ascot Innova 2.3 SI-Z. This was an extremely rare car in Japan to begin with and is an even rarer sight in America. I do not know of another top level trim Ascot Innova currently in America. The 2.3SI-Z came standard with four wheel steering, sport seats, leather steering wheel and rear air purifier. The way I would describe this car is a four door Prelude. Also, it is like a mix between a Civic and an Accord in size.
The car was legally imported into America and the vin for the car is: CC5-1000804. This car has 124,000 original miles on it. The car drives and handles like a car with much less mileage. I have the JEVIC Certificate for the car (Japan Export Vehicle Inspection Center Co Ltd), this is the company that certifies that the mileage is accurate and original. The interior is very clean for a car from 1992. The exterior has had some paintwork done to it. The exterior is silver over a black cloth/ leather interior. The car comes with the original spare tire. The tires have 85%-95% tread life left and it drives excellent and handles very well.
The oil was changed on the car in Japan before it came to the United States. Also, the car has already had two timing belt changes in its life, the first timing belt change was at 39,933 miles and the most recent timing belt change was done on 9/21/2016 at 94,479.
The car was imported legally and has a clean Tennessee title. I picked the vehicle up from the port of Jacksonville and drove the car 8.5 hours back to Tennessee. The car drove perfectly. The car starts nicely and the H23A 4-cylinder motor provides a fun drive while returning good gas mileage.
