Description

One of the few truly rare Japanese luxury cars. When Nissan brought the Infiniti brand to life they only had the one car, the Q-45, so they took the top end luxury Leopard model from Nissan Japan and redesigned it for the US market as the M30. The car was only made for 3 years as a US model and only 10K or so were imported, of those cars approximately 2500 were made into convertibles by ASC in California this is #1863. This car was originally sold in Palm Beach Florida (I have the original paperwork) and stayed there for much of its life, it has been in Iowa for 6 or 7 years but was never used in the winter. Don't fear for the usual rare car issues though, the engine and driveline are the same as the ones in numerous Nissan cars and trucks so parts availability is actually very good and affordable. My 92 M30 has all of the standard equipment since these cars only came fully loaded from the factory, I do have an aftermarket stereo installed but still have the factory head unit and Bose CD player which will come with the car. The factory AC is ice cold and the heater works well too, the cruise control holds speed well and the steering is true with no pushes or pulls. Mechanically this car is super sound and would be good to go to drive anywhere. I had the timing belt done less than 5K miles ago, the tires are approximately 7K miles old, recent full tune up with plugs and wires, brakes are less than 10K miles old, I would drive it anywhere. The 1 button up/down power top works perfectly, the plastic rear window has minimal scratches or hazing. All interior accessories function correctly with the exception of the power trunk release. I have used this car as a sunny day car for a number of years and when the miles are too high on my lease car it doubles as a top up daily driver for in town or highway trips. I have owned the M30 for a little less than 5 years and now my interests have shifted to European cars so I want to find the white convertible a new home. Please let me know if you have any questions.
