Up for Auction is this super solid and highly optioned CA Scout II. Rescued this Iconic SUV from the dry desert of California. It hasn’t been on the road for several years. It sports a newly rebuilt 2bbl Carb and the big 345 runs and drives with plenty of power. New battery. The Scout has Power steering & power brakes with discs up front. She has the factory A/C but I’m sure it will have to be reconditioned but it’s all there. Bullet proof Dana’s front and rear. Mileage shows 10915 but it’s more than likely rolled over and there is no way to verify actual mileage. The auto tranny works and shifts like it should. She will need new tires as the 31’s are heavily weathered and not road worthy. The body is incredibly solid with absolutely zero visible rust/cancer. I have all of the side marker lights that will go with the sale as well as spare door panelsand an extra transfer case. I’ve had many Scouts in the past and this is by far straightest and most solid Scout that I’ve had in a long time. The fender lips, rockers, quarters, floor boards, cargo area and body mounts are perfect, see the pics and especially check out the body mounts! This is the way you want to find these rigs! The exterior has a very cool brown patina and has very little visible damage anywhere. Its sports a very cool vintage roof rack that along with the front push bar adds to the gritty character of this American legend. The interior is complete, original and in great shape. All the glass is in great shape and perfect with the optional sliding rear side glass on the topper. These later year Scouts are by far the best looking and are more modern equipped with better brakes and better Dana’s. The California Title is clear, signed and ready to go. Would make a great first car for the young diver or a candidate for a soft restoration. Where else are going to find a great Scout like this that is not totally rusted out and not a POS for under 10K? Restored, they are pulling ridiculous money which makes it a great investment!
