Description

I have a 1954 International half ton, short bed truck up for bid. It is in great shape and ready for restoration. The 220 straight 6 runs well. It doesn't make any weirdnoises and does not smoke. It had a vacuum leak or something so I just rebuilt the carb. The video I've included was taken when the carb had the leak. It has been too cold for me to go out and put the carb back on so maybe when it warms up. The video does show that it runs and is pumping gas from the tank. I've been able to drive it around the yard a bit too. The 4 speed trans seems to be working well in 1st, 2nd and Reverse but that is all I've had the guts to try as the brakes need work. I had the fronts working pretty well, but the rears will need new cylinders. Brakes will be an easy fix.Has a 12v alternator and it is charging. None of the other electronics are working though. I would think a new wire harness is in order but all the correct items are in place. Truck is very complete. No real rust to speak of other than the passenger rear cab corner. Floors are good, bed is good. A little rust where the running boards meet the rear fenders, but very minor. Drivers running board is in great shape. Passenger had someone cut the top valence off. The good news is that the tread is in good shape and the valence is just flat metal and could be easily fabricated.Stock seat base and spring is here, but needs covering. Every piece of glass is broken on this truck. The truck runs and drives, but not roadworthy. And for shipping purposes, I'd say it does NOT run and drive. It needs a battery andthe brake work, makes it hard to drive onto a trailer. Here is a link to a quick video of it running:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S6NorSQDpoYTake a look and let me know if you have any questions.
