It’s not every day you get a chance to own a super nice rust free International, but even more rare a 1300 1 ton 4x4! This 1967 1300 started its life as a 2 wheel drive eastern Oregon work truck and has been carefully converted to 4 wheel drive. The trucks overall condition is excellent. The original paint was faded enough that a re-spray was done to the truck in the original school bus yellow. The trucks low mileage makes it the best candidate for this type of conversion. The trucks 345 v8 runs smooth and doesn’t leak or smoke. It shifts smooth up and down through the gears. Power steering was also added to the truck. Although it works well there’s room for improvement. The power brakes are great. A firm push on the peddle will put your face against the windshield. The 4 wheel drive running gear was selected from a 1973 International 1210. The front axle is a disk brake front end so the drum brake woes are handled. The transfer case is an NP202 from a 1200 4x4. Mounting the later transfer case would have been too difficult and would mean the removal of a cross member so we stayed with the earlier case. The tires are almost new, and the wheels too. There is virtually not a day this truck is driven that it is not commented on. You can drive the truck anywhere with confidence. It’s quite dependable and easy to drive. If you have any questions or need more pictures, just ask and we will provide them to you. Thanks for looking and have fun bidding. Payment is due in full, via bank to bank transfer 72 hours after end of auction. Truck must be picked up at the buyers expense and schedule with the shipping company 7 days after end of auction unless prior arrangements are made.
