Description

I'm selling my 1974 International Travelall simply because as much as I thought I'd use it, it just sits around.....the kids hate it.....the wife hates it......so to keep peace it's gonna have to go.
Overall in my opinion this truck is in great condition for its age and the fact that most Internationals tend to turn to dust by this age. If you're a IH fan you know these trucks LOVE to rust.......they'll keep running til judgement day but there won't be much of a body left.
This truck is an exception......while it does show some signs of rust, it is mild compared to normal rust belt vehicles.
I've owned this truck for about 3 years and have NEVER taken it out in the winter......I know better........get some of that pre-treat on this puppy and you can watch it disintegrate.
This truck comes with the factory 392 V8, automatic, factory 4x4 and 3.73 gearing front and back. There are also power disc brakes, dual fuel tanks, power steerin, electric tailgate window and factory A/C, but the pump is missing.
The front hubs are new as well as the bearings, and the four wheel drive engages and works as it should. Tires are in excellent shape, ignition has been upgraded, the thermo-bog carburetor has been replaced with a holley, I have a new exhaust system that goes with the truck and there is a new brake master cylinder, and the 4 15 X 10 Centerlines go with the truck.
The truck also comes with the roof basket, shovel and an off road recovery jack
The truck shows no signs of accidents, but there is the start of typical wheel well rust out back and some showing on the roof.
Visually the way you see this truck is the way I received it.......I have done required mechanical repairs that were neglected by the previous owner but I haven't touched the body yet.
The interior is the same story, it could use some seat covers, but I was gonna change over to black so it wasn't a concern for me.....floors have been coated with bedliner and are solid.....no carpets
I can provide whatever pictures are requested.
The truck runs very good......its a little grouchy some days but once its going, it will go wherever you point it......just bring a gas card cause you're gonna need it.
The truck is sold as is where is......while this truck runs well and I have taken it on extended journeys (4 hour road trips), anything can happen when driving an older vehicle, so my suggestion would be to have it transported to its final destination.
Ask any and all questions before auctions end..........Good Luck and Happy Bidding.
