Description

1960 International Metro Van. All original truck in need of complete restoration. Selling withNo Reserveto the highest bidder.
This International Metro is not up to the usual standard of the trucks that we sell but it came as part of a package with another truck from a Farm Auction. The floorboards have no rust but the lower bodysides including the steps have suffered. The drivers side step has fallen off but it comes with the truck as it may be a useful template for restoration. This shouldn't be too much of a challenge to repair though as it is all flat steel. Also the drivers side front fender is rusted through. It was used as a milk truck and has some pretty neat old sign writing. The load area is in very good shape and all of the doors open and close. The grille is unfortunately missing. Overall this is an opportunity to own a very desirable and hard to find Metro Van at a very affordable price.
The interior is complete and in respectable condition for its age.
Mechanically this truck is complete but does not run and has not ranin many years. The brakes are rusted on which makes it awkward to move but we have a few good shippers that we use often that are equipped with winches and willing to transport it at their regular rate. We had no problem winching it onto our trailer with a 10,000 lb winch so it does slide fairly easily. We're also very happy to assist the winning bidder with loading it should you choose to collect it yourself.
Bid with confidence and feel free to message with any questions. Selling withNo Reserveto the highest bidder.
If you have any questions please message us.
If you would like a shipping quote please message us. We can assist in arranging shipping for you as we have several reliable contacts that we have used before many times to ship our vehicles all over the country and they are all very familiar with loading and hauling this type of vehicle.

who we are and what we do

We are two brothersthat seek out original trucks and cars fromall acrossCanadaspecializing in vehicles from the 40s, 50s and 60s.

We started heading North to source these vehicles several years ago due to the severe lack of such vehicles in the US in recent times due to our huge car culture. Most American barn finds have long been found and tampered with by several owners yet North of the border there still seems to be an abundance of good solid original vehicles waiting to be brought back to life.

We make these great vehicles available to the US market by importing them into the US and providing all required paperwork to acquire a Clear US Title in your own name in your home State.

We also specialize insourcing Mercuryand Fargo trucks and have successfully imported and found new homes for dozens of fine original examples.

We are passionate about finding the best thatthere is and understand that ourcustomerswantto see automobiles that have not been tampered with; the moreoriginal, the better.

Our inventory is regularly updated, as new finds are unearthed. If there is something specificthatyou are looking for, then let us know and we'd be happy to see if we can help.

The business we conduct is straightforward and honest. Whether you're looking for something that'sall original, a starting point for a restoration project orsolid bones for a custom build, Bison Brothers will deliver.
