Description

I purchased this rare collectible as an investment 5 yrs ago from the original owners family. The owner of the truck worked for fish and Wildlife service dept of Agriculture for 30 yrs as a bird researcher. The son inherited the truck and added the SkyJacker Shocks, Rockford Fosgate Punch speaker box and amplifier. I paid a premium for this truck as I knew of its collectible value and wanted to completely restore the truck. Unfortunately I do not have the time to give this truck the attention it deserves. My loss your gain. I have had several of these trucks and this one barely even smokes after starting rapidly after one cycle of the glow plugs. All my others have smoked like a chimney upon starting.I just took the truck for a 40 mile drive yesterday. The truck ran well, the brakes were squishy and I had to pump them a bit. All fluids and brakes should be serviced before taking any long trips. There is rust in spots and all metal can be fixed or replaced.I have used biodiesel in these motors and they run well on it. It is running on regular diesel. I just not had the time to go through the truck. The top has never come off. I installed a reverse shackle kit and stabilizing bar so the original 4x4 drive shaft will be included but needs to be adjusted and reinstalled if desired. Original 4x4 drive shaft will be included.I am letting this truck go at a low price with no reserve as I am realistic about the work that needs to happen to make it what it could be.
