Widened Scout 800 body mounted on a 1977 Jeep Cherokee Chief frame, utilizing wide track Dana 44 front and rear axles. The frame has been completely painted with frame protection and rust encapsulator for protection from the elements. The Scout is lifted 4” with 35x12.50 Mud Terrain tires, mounted on 17” polished aluminum wheels. The body is professionally sprayed in a soft royal blue Linex, offering excellent protection against scrapes, dings and scuffs.
Under the hood we have a 6.0L Chevrolet V8, controlled by a GM performance computer and harness. Paired to a newly rebuilt 4L80E and Dana 30 twin stick transfer case, it has the strength to tackle whatever you may throw at it. The twin stick transfer case offers total control of where the power goes, with high and low gearing.
On the dash you will find a Rockford Fosgate marine radio, paired to two 6.5” two way speakers in the dash, two 6.5” tower marine speakers on rotating mounts and a 12” sub woofer in the armrest. A Race Technologies digital dash reads out engine parameters in real time. In the rear you will find a 15 gallon aluminum fuel cell, foam packed to prevent fuel starvation in off camber situations.
A frame mounted rollcage, including grab handles and side steps, has been custom designed for the scout with a matching bikini soft top. Both front Corbeau seats are slider mounted, and matched with a custom upholstered rear bench seat, allowing seating for 4. On the front of the cage a 50” LED light bar is mounted, paired with two 2” cube lights in the rear allowing for total illumination. LED taillights in the rear with 2” cube reverse lights are installed for maximum visibility. The inside is also sprayed in Linex, this time in white, allowing for ease of cleaning. Simply hose the inside of the Scout out and hit the road.
Under the chassis a Optima Red top battery is fully captured by a Ruff Stuff battery case. Under the drivers seat you will find a marine battery tender connection, allowing for easy battery maintenance when not in use.
