1949 INTERNATIONAL GASSER TRUCK

1949 International gasser pickup. Chevy 5.7 one piece rear main seal, 4 bolt, roller block. Eagle 383 forged rotating assembly, Comp Xr288hr-10 roller camshaft, GM performance roller lifters, pushrods, etc... Jegs performance aluminum heads with Comp roller rockers, Jegs stud girdles, etc... Edelbrock mid-rise intake manifold with a Street Demon 750 carb sitting on a vintage "DRAKE" finned aluminum carb spacer.Stainless steel fenderwell headers with turndowns, too much too list.
4L80e automatic transmission with an MSD controller and a 3000 lock-up stall. 1959 GMC straight axle front end with a Speedway motors power disc brake conversion kit, and power steering. Ford 9" rear axle with a 3.70 gear ratio and posi-trac. 22 gallon "Mustang style" gas tank under the bed floor with fender fill,so you can use this truck... Like a truck!
This truck was built to drive to work everyday, put sticks in it to go to the dump, haul stuff,etc.... Its used as a TRUCK. I wanted something that would make people stare, laugh, and strike up a conversation... it works. But, itneeded to be user freindly as well, so thats why it's automatic with power steering and brakes, has overdrive, a heater and functioning wipers. It's got dents and dings but that's the beauty of it, you don't have to worry about USING it everyday, any flat black paint will make it look like new again! It has no rust through and is solid. The truck also has locking Model "A" style door handles as well as a locking glove box.

It is a basic simple hot rod with no B.S. There are three switches on the dash... One for lights, wipers, and heater. With the overdrive transmission you can drive 80 mph down the freeway and rattle windows as you pass the other drivers... giggling.
