Description

1976 International Scout II possible “Patriot edition”. NO RUST AND ALL ORIGINAL
OWN A PIECE OF HISTORY!
I’m still reeling with this decision, but we are down sizing and 4 cars can’t move with us, toying with selling 2, this is one of them. So, here goes.
No rust, clean and ALL ORIGINAL 1976 International Scout ii. There were 42 labeled “Patriot” from the factory and 5 more (that are known of) that left the factory with patriot appliqué. However, this appliqué could have been installed via the TSPC (Truck Sales Processing Center) or they could have been dealer installed. International Harvester was not known for their record keeping, so getting concrete information is nearly impossible. Many of these rare models such as the patriot and the spirit have shown up over time, with no real understanding of how they came to be. However, given the condition and the fact that it sat on a ranch in Arizona for over 40 years, it’s easy to tell that this is all original.

New:
Brakes
Tires
Carburetor (plus a brand new holly I had to remove to smog in lovely CA)
Battery
Everything else major seems to work (didn't' check non essential things like turn signals etc). There are a few things that I haven’t really finished going over, but it’s all there, all original.
I’m sure there’s more but I can’t recall at the moment.
I also have access to the original matching fabric for the seats to match 100%!
All this needs is the carpet and spare tire for that 100% original and derivable“patina” look.
Passenger door is locked and I need to get it open and re keyedalong with driver side key.
I’m sure I’m missing something, so feel free to ask. If you know scouts, then you know how rare this is.
