Description

I am reluctantly parting ways with my bone stock 1976 International Scout Terra. Typical story, life, wife and kids are in the way so here it goes...This was the first year for theTerra and theonly change from stockare the bumpers and vintage Cragar wheel with 31" tires. This truck started its life in Nevada then headed to California and a little over a year ago before it came to Connecticut. If you have looked any Scouts in the Northeast you know how bad they can be! Needless to say the body is in great shape overall. Take a look at the pictures they speak for themselves. It hasa few dings and dents, there is a couple soft spots in the drivers floor, the worst spot of rust is the hole in the front lower section of the rear quarter panel. I do have the patch panel to repair it.It has astrong running 304ci V8(at some point it was rebuilt with a small cam),727 automatic transmission, Dana 20 transfer case and 3.54 gears in the Dana 44 axles. It still wears its original Sunflower yellow paint and has an Ivy interior. The removable top has never been off it. I have the original workshop manual, owners manual, build sheet and dealership brochure as well. It runs, drives and stops. The lights all work as do the blinkers and hazards although the blinker switchin the column is loose.I've taken it to a local car shows but I wouldn't consider it a daily driver until it was gone through (brakes, fluids etc. etc.)It has some fluid leaks a all old cars do.It has dual glass pack muffler for that vintage soundbut no tail pipes. the interior is presentable with a seat cover over the stock 60/40 bench. Oh and its got gun rack in the back window, just in case!!Overall its a gooda good truck at a good price that doesn't need a ton of body work to be really nice If things were different it wouldn't be going anywhere.

I have reread my description again and besides a few typo's I noticed I didn't mention that like most Scouts I've dealt with this one toois cold blooded but runsnice once warmed upand alsothere is some rust in the rear quarter panel lips, someone put fender flares over these sections .If I were to keep it I would use a Bushwacker style flare. All in all,I don't want anyone to think I am trying to hide anything. Feel free to ask any questions you might have.

Thanks again for looking.
