Description

This is the actual vehicle built and used in the MOVIE "REAL STEEL" starring Hugh Jackman. We are pleased to offer this extremelyrareInternational Havester Company IHC IH ACO-195 Tilt Cab Sightliner that is often listed on rare and one of a kind lists, which is just the beginning of what this vehicle offers..

Again, this is the “One-of-One” screen used 1960 International Cabover as seen in the 2011 Hugh Jackman movie “Real Steel”. The movieportraysthat in the future we use robots that we control to fight and as the story goes, Hugh's character is a down on his luck robot jockey that travels across the country like a traveling circus crossed with a rodeo. The script called for a one-off vehicle for him to haul his robots around and to live out of. Due to the amount of money it cost to build this vehicle, which is reported to be about a quarter of a million, they only built one for the movie and it was built as a full working set. For thediscerning collector, that puts this International Cabover at the extreme top of the rare list. Once you enter the vehicle it is loaded from top to bottom with all the props from the movie, as if it was just closed up after the last day of filming, like a movie time capsule of sorts.

This pro-touring version of a 1960 International is heavily featured throughout the movie with many of the scenes showing it cruising down the road for the robot fighting events, the interior is used immensely to show robot repairs, sleeping quarters, and traveling. This vehicle truly is one of the stars of the show and is seen with Hugh Jackman behind the wheel throughout the movie taking Atom, the boxing robot from fight to fight. We refer to it as a "protouring"since its driveline has beencompletelyupgraded to a late model chassis and drivetrain to give it themodern rideand make it very dependablewhile traveling from set location to set location. The goal was 100%reliabilitybecausetherewasn'ta backupvehicle to fill in. For those of you who have dealt with movie vehicles before, you will understand just how rare it is for a big budget studio movie to only build oneprincipal vehicle instead of theindustry standard ofat least two if there is no major stunt driving called for in the script.

Unlike any other movie vehicle we have owned, this one was sketched and designed to not only be a running a driving vehicle for filming, but also as a movie set where a big majority of the movie would be filmed. Every corner you look at has hours and hours ofsettouches and customizations like; lighting, electricity, detail design, set props, lift gate, fans, custom gauges, custom driveline, even down the large seat that rests against the passenger side of the rear compartment where ATOM the herorobot and other robots in the moviesat while being transported and repaired. We cannot stress enough what an amazing piece of art and movie history this is! It is surely one that can beappreciatedthrough the years and by many generations. We areprobablyonly mentioning 1% of what thisvehiclehas to offer so please scroll through the photographs, becausewhat you see in the pictures is everything that is included with thevehicle, from the large security safe, Hugh Jackman's bedding, wardrobe, boxing gloves, fishing rods, counters with tools and equipment, fans, refrigerator, canisters, cords, books, lighting, mirrors, cabinetry, etc. There is a lot of detail in this vehicle throughout from the aged patina paint, ripped driver's seat, even down to making the faux International ACO wheel covers to fit over the modern wheels.

This is a great opportunity for someone to use as feature car at events wether it be

comic-cons, car shows, cars and coffee events, charity events, ATHS events or as a business draw.

It turns heads everywhere it goes and lights up the eyes of bothyoungand old whenever it is on the road.

We displayed thevehicleat a Children's Miracle Network event where we allowed the children tours inside the truck. There are so many movie props and customizations on this truck it is truly amazing even down to Hugh Jackman’s boxing gloves to the i-drive style knob in the cab of the truck to the power hydraulic cab lifts. The vehicle was a complete build and some areas were aged down to look more used for the movie such as the slit in the seat and the hand painted patina. We also drove thisvehiclefrom California to Texas and can attest to its roadworthiness. There are so many features to mention we tried to outline a few below and welcome requests for additional photo's ordescription.
