Description

This listing is for a 1973 International Scout II 4x4. This freshly painted and rebuild Scout runs and drives great. It is turn-key, crank up the stereo, and go on or off the road. This year and a half restoration has been about building a safe, solid, reliable vehicle. Everything works, no problems or bugs to work out. This truck has all the original drivetrain including the 345 V8 engine, Borg Warner Transmission, and Dana 30 front axle and Dana 44 rear axle. The engine and transmission were pulled. Engine compartment and chassis detailed. The engine was torn down to short block and rebuilt. Transmission resealed. Front and rear axles solid and in good shape. Front disc brake installed using factory booster hardware and components. All hoses, belts, and rubber components have been replaced. The fuel tank has been removed, sealed, and new vent hoses and system have been installed. The seats are freshly reupholstered and in great shape. The roll cage and custom bikini top fit under the factory hard top if you run into inclement weather or want to do some wet wheeling. The factory rubber mat looks great and makes it easy to keep clean. The full custom Autometer dash has fuel, voltage, coolant, oil pressure, speedometer and tachometer. Included in the dash are 4x4 indicators and turn signal indicators. The Kenwood head unit is backed by a full Kicker 7 speaker system. 2 tweeters, 2 mids, 2 6x9’s and a low profile sub and amp under the back seat. The wheels are classic American Racing Baja rims from the 70’s they set this truck off with the great orange paint job. The hard top has not been painted. It can be mounted on the truck for shipping but there are no gaskets so they would need to be order or the body would need protected. If you have any questions about this truck please email.
