Description

Same owner for the past 23 years. Several new parts (with receipts) in recent years. For example: new tires, shocks, battery, and starter in 2019; new radiator in 2018; new timing belt and water pump in 2017. The transmission was replaced in 2004 and has less than 100,000 miles on it. The engine runs great and as long as you are diligent in periodically checking and adding oil as I have been, it should keep going for several thousand more miles. If you check the blogs on Troopers you will see that some oil usage between changes for a vehicle of this type and vintage is considered normal. This vehicle has what most Trooper aficionados consider the “better” 3.2L DOHC engine. You will be hard pressed to find a 1994 Trooper in such good shape!
Recall that the “LS” trim package was top of the line for its time: automatic transmission, power windows and door locks, heated & folding side mirrors, leather interior, ABS brakes, a multi-meter (compass, altimeter, and outside temp), etc. The vehicle has never been in an accident, nor taken off-road, but of course has 4WD if you choose to do so or if you encounter snow. A trailer hitch was added and used, not to tow anything, but to accommodate a bike rack. The fog lights have been re-wired to serve as daytime running lights for additional safety. Note the chrome trim around the wheel wells, as well as the extra molding strip on the side which were added to enhance the look of the vehicle as well as to protect from door dings.
