Description

1966 Jaguar 3.8S parts car and S-type inventory for sale. Due to title issues, it is being offered as a parts lot only, despite being a very complete, numbers matching car.JDHT certificate shows it was cream with black interior, now painted a gunmetal gray.
This car was purchased as a parts car for another car I am near to finishing.I only wanted the carpet and leather kits that came with it and did not need anything else. So, now I am selling off this parts car along with all the other parts I have accumulated along the way.In addition to the entire parts car, there are enough boxed spare parts to fill the car's trunk plus some on the seats. It's too much to list.If not sold as is, it will be parted out and the body scrapped.
A valid title exists in Virginia, based on the DMV online search I did. I have that original title but it was just not transferred properly by the previous buyer. He never transferred it to his name despite being named on the face of the title as the buyer, so it still exists in the VA DMV system under the sellers name.I have tried to contact the previous buyer and seller to resolve the issue but have had no luck in reaching them. If you can find the owner listed on the title, a replacement title could be requested through VA DMV.
The car itself is in pretty good restorable shape if you are considering using it that way. It was repainted 10 or more years ago and looks good but is not perfect. Some chips and defects are visible from handling and sitting over decades. The engine is the matching number engine for the car, but will need a complete rebuild. The trans looks original Borg Warner, but I didn't actually see the number. It will need to be trailered wherever it goes. The steering wheel is on but is not connected so it doesn't actually turn . Brakes not not work.
Message me with any questions and I will do my best to answer them. I cannot provide a comprehensive list of the extra spares, but can check for some specific items if requested.
Thanks,Randy
