JAGUAR KOUGAR 1961 EXOTIC VINTAGE RACING

Description

This beautiful Jaguar was meticulously torn down and restored by the craftsman here at British Motorsports. This car came into the shop as a very nice example of an undamaged, low millage car. The car was refinished in the original British Racing Green, all of the bright work has been powder coated in mat black. The interior has been finished in hand-stitched black Connolly leather. The rugs were redone in Wilton Wool with black leather binding. Every part of this car has been addressed and refinished to perfection. The engine was completely torn down and reassembled back to a 9 to 1 racing engine with bigger custom cut cams. The head was bench flowed and matched to the carbs. The car has new trigger-less ignition. All the brakes have been redone with new stainless steel. The car sports a new Bell stainless exhaust that was also jet-hot treated in mat black. Everything about this car is truly the pinnacle of perfection. The car has less than 100 break-in miles since it's restoration. It is extremely quick and the weight to horse-power ratio is fantastic. There were a little less than 350 of these cars produced. We have been fortunate enough to restore several and have the procedure down to an art. Nothing but the best has been used for this car. After driving the car and playing with it for the first year, I have restored it to it's original beauty and now offer it for sale.
