1970 Jaguar E Type Coupe, (XKE)
Description
Jaguar 1970 E-type fixed head Coupe. Standard 96 inch wheelbase. 4.2 L six-cylinder, four-speed manual. This Heritage certificate holding, matching numbers E-Type Coupe just completed full professional body work and paint. All trim, doors, hatch, etc. were removed for complete sanding, all needed metal work completed prior to panel fit followed by complete base/clear repaint. The black interior has new leather seats with new seat foams as well as new carpets and under felt. All weatherstripping and most of the body rubber was replaced, as well. The chrome is very nice on this car and the glass is good but it does have a small blemish in the windshield. Mechanically, the car has had its engine rebuilt with its gearbox and rear differential resealed, including a new clutch and U joints. The front suspension was rebushed and Koni shocks added. It has brand-new tires on Dayton chrome wires. Receipts also document new brake system throughout, New water pump, starter, wiper motor, Rebuilt carbs, etc. I have receipts for all the mechanical work back until the early 90s and know the cars history I have receipts for all the mechanical work back until the early 90s.
