Up for sale in our Tampa showroom is this truly custom 1-off build the 1986 Jaguar XJ6 Vanden Plas. Known originally for being a very high end luxury car this one here has been transformed to combine the idea of American horsepower as well. Custom built with a GM LT1 fuel injected engine this car has become one-of-a-kind both the engine and transmission were pulled from a Corvette to be better purposed for a Jaguar. The Jaguar name since its inception in the 1930s have been synonomous with high end luxury and this car has not forgotten its roots. The interior is lined in a beautiful beige leather seating that holds you in place and doesnt allow you to forget what kind of car you are sitting in. The dashboard is done in all original fashion starting from its luxurious burlwood dash to the blonde steering wheel as Jaguar has always been a fan of picking the highest quality wood finishes to show off just how high end they are. The exterior is factory painted in a beautiful black paint that doesnt need to be filled with a lot of metal flake to make a statement since the idea is that a car shouldnt be flashy to be seen. Going back to the engine as stated both the engine and transmission were pulled from a donor Corvette to be repurposed into this Jaguar With the engine being an iron block LT1 that did a fantastic job of blowing past the competition all the way up into the early 2000s. The transmission is a 4-speed automatic that still allows you to sit back and enjoy to ride if you dont feel like shifting gears.
