A sad day, because of health and high medical bills I’m forced to sell my dream car. When I first bought it I had looked at several and I chose this one because of the low mileage, but what I didn’t do was the math’s; low mileage and high years meant it hadn’t been driven very much; the thing is it had been sitting in a garage for years. Then the repairs started and it got to a point of no return, I spent over $9000. The following is a partial list of what it took to make it the Top of the line First class car it is now. (Original owner manual & tape cassette included).
Replace both gas tanks. . Replace both gas floats. . Replace all 3 gas flow solenoids
Total rebuild of the rear end, which includes inbound rotors, calipers, pads.CV joints, and bearings. . .Replace radiator, water pump and all hoses, refurbish AC system, and a new Interstate battery. All the fluids have been swapped out with “AMSOIL” synthetic oil, leader in synthetic oils industry, ask any mechanic. I have all the work receipts
Installed new Pirelli tires (driven less than 300 miles) on knock off, no not fake; spinner mounted wire wheels which comes with a 5-pound lead hammer for putting on & off, this set up alone was over $3000. (The original wheels included).
For a 32 yr old car the body and paint is excellent, so is the leather and burl wood interior, especially the headliner; which is unusual for this year & make. . .
This car is a head turner where ever I go, and yes it has a working elec. sunroof. . . oh! Did I mention that the fuel injected 4.2L 6 cyl. Runs smooth as a Swiss watch averaging 22 mpg..
Can you tell I love this car, ,You will too ! ! !
