This XKE recently "retired" here to Florida from an estate where she can get some sun, live peacefully with only a chance of a passing hurricane to worry about, but now its time to move her on to the next owner. This is one of the highest sought after early Series 1 models. Its hard to find a genuine 1962 Coupe and this car has all the usual early early Series 1 trademarks to look for like the factory aluminum console and instrument with correct crosshatch pattern, original factory reinforced contoured seats, all data, body, gearbox and chassis numbers still visible on the car.
Car had been stored with several other vehicles. We blew the dust away and found a beautiful specimen. Car has only 33-34k miles on her. While not 100% complete this car has virtually all vital unique XKE parts known in this model, including the wire rims, complete drivetrain, original bonnet, original doors original body panels and much more....
Car is easily worth $150,000+ if fully restored. Priced to SELL on this auction!
Upholstery had a redo a few years back and looks nice. No accidents on this car ever, Body does have some dings on the front hood edges and on the belly pan. NO RUST THROUGHS on the hood, Mostly, just typical dings from opening up face down on ground. Passenger door is OK but could use reskinning. Floors are also original as you can see with only some isolated floor work done through the years, but most all original and intact...
We have a clear Florida title in our company's name. If you've ever dreamed of owning a car like this then make a BEST OFFER to get it. Owner IS FLEXIBLE and plans to see it SELL ON THIS AUCTION. If you look at other XKE's on EBAY right now, from later years, or with MIXED and MATCHED parts you'll see prices nearing what were asking for this RARE 1962 model. Make a solid offer and well gladly consider it. Payments are as follows:
-$1000 deposit at auction end
-Balance of payment or funding is due with 3 days of auction end. (Can offer slight extension for overseas buyers if asked and approved in advance)
-All payments non-refundable
Well gladly work with your inspector and have the car available for inspection. Car is sold as-is, how-is with no warranty expressed or implied. We have tried to provide all the facts we know for you to decide. It needs some restore but is most all complete and appears to be ....all original to car from 1962..... Clear title in our company's name. If you look at our feedback you'll see we have sold several classic cars to buyers with much satisfaction so bid with confidence
