Description

Up for sale is another great Jaguar I have. It is a 1966 2+2 with an automatic transmission and 23,481 miles as shown. This was part of a large Jaguar collection that I am closing out. The last owner bought this about 1973 with light front end damage on the nose, so the nose was replaced with one from a black car. The car has mostly sat in the garage for the whole time he had it. It has not been started in about 10 years. The overall condition on this one is pretty great considering how bad they rust. Info on ID tag-Serial # 1E77277B, Engine # 7E53116-, Body # 4E5310, Auto trans # EJ15705. --BODY CONDITION-- Amazing for age , no rust thru holes, panels are pretty straigh, floors are great ! rear pans are good as well as rockers, rear hatch is out of adjustment, car presents very well,no brakes, - -INTERIOR--once again as the pictures show its held up wel, the seats are nic, the dash has some cracks, Switch panel is very nice. The wood steering wheel is beautiful. Rear seat folds forward.– ENGINE—The engine does not ru, it turns over good but has no spar, I have not messed with it at all as I am not a Jag exper, the original engine has been replaced with a 1965 engin, Serial # 7E2644-9, the head matches the block # by the oil filter. It is date coded Dec 18-1964 N . --TRANSMISSION—the trans lever is stuck in neutral and does not move, I don’t know why.but the car rolls good. This was a car with A/, the parts have been removed and all of the parts I have are included. The heater fan box has also been removed but included. Please look at the last photos to see all of the spare parts included, Both headlight trim rings are there but only passenger glass is there. I am not sure what is missing but I don’t think to much from all the parts I found for the car, even the jack is there. I know I wrote a lot but please read carefully and look at photos as I want you to understand the condition of this great car that deserves a proper restoration!! Or fix and drive as is.
