Jaguar XK-120M Roadster
Description
The vehicle was purchased by the current owner John Farrell in 1973. A frame off restoration was completed in 1983 .It is finished in Old English White with a Tan interior. The drivetrain, suspension, brakes (sleeved with brass and filled with silicone fluid) and steering were rebuilt and painted with 2 part epoxy. Rusted or damaged body panels were replaced. Chrome trim was re-plated or replaced. A new wiring harness installed,switches replaced and guages rebuilt. The interior, convertible top, side curtains and tonneau cover were re-plated,repainted and covered with new and correct materials. The frame was replaced with a rust free example. All guages and lights work. Jack, knock off hammer,tire pump,tool kit,manuals and Heritage Certificate included. #s match except for the frame. The body and frame are rust free and straight. The vehicle was stored in a dry warehouse from 1993 -2018. Recently all necessary repairs and maintenance were completed: including fuel tan, fuel pump, flexible fuel line,carbs, new tandem master cylinder,carbs and timing set all fluids and filters changed. The chrome is excellent the paint has some cracks,mostly on the front and the seats show some wear. The car starts, runs and drives great.
