1987 Jaguar XJ6 VDP
Description
This is the last of the Series III and the last of the true Jaguar cars. Very difficult to find in this low millage, rust-free, like new condition. I am the second owner and I have done all needed repairs that usually are due at 32k miles, like brakes, including the expensive interior location rear brakes. Age related repairs where done too, like new exhaust system, new tires on like new Dayton wire wheels and a new head-liner. Headliners are a big Jaguar problem, including much newer Jags. Series III Jaguars are very dependable, after the 1984 privatetake-over and the change from Lukas to Bosch electric and electronics. Having 6 Jaguars and a Rolls Royce Silver Spur II, I really don't use them as daily drivers. The Rolls can make the show, but the Jag rides as well and by fare is a better ride then the Rolls. Like most older cars, including the Rolls, there are no cupholders...lol, but overall this Jag does not feel like a 31 year old car, it rides and handles better then the newer daily drivers a own. I have over 10k invested, but I will consider any fair offer, that is not an insult. I can email you the Car-Fax report, if you supply your address.
