Here we have a 1963 Jaguar MK10 that is a rust-free California 2-owner car with clean California title. This Jaguar has had the same owner since 1976 and comes with service records dating back to that time.
This Jag currently runs and drives quite well. It had been sitting for some time and recent work has got it back up and mobile again. Recent work includes removing one of the fuel tanks and servicing it, replacing the fuel pump, new fan belt, new front brake flex hoses, new rear brake flex hose, re-sleeved stainless-steel front calipers, and new exhaust system. According to the records the engine was rebuilt in 1990 then had a valve job in 1999. The car currently only runs from the driver's side fuel tank. The center bearing on the driveshaft is noisy and causes a slight rattle on takeoff and the power steering pump leaks. The tires are old and should be replaced prior to any major driving.
The exterior has been repainted in Quartz Blue Metallic and is showing its age with some cracking on the bonnet. There are a few chips and dings throughout but otherwise still looks pretty good. The original leather interior has been re-done in a tan vinyl and is in very good shape with a few slight tears. The wood is also intact and in very good condition. Most of the electrics are functional, brake lights, headlights, wipers, indicators, horn all work. All the gauges are functional. Power windows work but some are a bit slow. The chrome is in very good condition and shines up well. All glass is clear with no chips or scratches.
Overall this is a very lovely Jag that is a rust-free California car that just needs a little more sorting out to be something great.
