1953 Jaguar XK-120 FHC
Description
1953 Jaguar XK120 FHC I have owned this vehicle the past 15 years and body restoration was started with new sills and shut faces. Front wings have been removed to facilitate sill replacement and are awaiting sheet metal repairs along with installation of a the new spare tire pan. Only panels not included are the trunk bulkhead pane, fuel filler cover,driveshaft tunne, and rear wheel opening beading. All aluminum closures are in good condition with solid wood and no stress cracks in aluminum panels.
The Engine is not original but is the correct 3.4 Litre sourced from an XK-150 but does not turn over. Engine waterways do not exhibit typical corrosion. Gearbox is a matching number Moss Box. Vehicle has a clear Michigan title and is titled under the Body Number
Vehicle is complet, less 3 pc windshield trim, FHC air cleaner, grille vane, parcel shelf tray, jack and tool roll.
Interior wood is partially refinished. The door rails and side dash panels need to be veneered. Only missing wood is LH door cap trim and A-pillar trim. Instrumentation is complete and in very good condition . Glass Backlight is in excellent conditio, other flat glass needs replacement.
