She was loved for many years by her previous owner, and I was told she was driven to the golf course and weekends and never left California. Shewas neighbors with Bob Hope, and who knows he may have even gone to the golf course in Sunny.(Wouldn't that beneat to find a picture of that?) After the owner past away his granddaughterinheritedthe Commando and kept her for another 15 years. At some point the Commandowas painted, A new top replace the old one, Still has therollbar inside.New leather interiorfront and back seats, fully carpeted with thick padding. Door side panels and dash all matching buck stitch.Extra cover made to fit the gas tank hose in back, lots of extra perks. Low miles on the new wheels and yokohama tires. The Jeep isn't raised butfeels high w/newer wheels and tires. Rust free body and lower sides.There was no expense spared on this classic Jeep.
The Jeep Commando C104 was produced for two years until it was completely phased out in 1973, bringing the total number produced to 20,223. These Jeep Commandos are becoming harder to find in Rust free condition. If you have ever wanted one or are looking. You better take a better look at this one.
